A Ritual for Presence

Mornings used to begin in a rush.
Email. News. To-dos before tea.
Somewhere along the way, I decided to begin again.

Now, my mornings begin slowly, on purpose.

Hot lemon water in a beautiful mug that has a special connection to my family.
Brushes dipped in soft watercolor before I speak a single word.
One word of intention, chosen quietly, to carry me through the hours ahead.

It doesn’t always look the same.
Sometimes I journal. Sometimes I just sit in the light. Sometimes I pedal.
But always, I begin with presence.

This ritual isn’t about checking a box.
It’s about coming home to myself before I meet the day.

Before the doing, the being.
Before the noise, the noticing.
Before the list, the breath.

If you’re craving more space in your mornings, you don’t need a new routine.
You need one moment that belongs only to you.

Start there.
And let it grow.
