Turning Small Spaces into Everyday Galleries

I have always believed that art belongs in every room, not just the “good” rooms.
When we moved into our home, I imagined bringing the outside, inside. So much so, that we added a window to our main living area. Walls gained pieces from local artists. But the places that surprise me most are the little corners.

The framed piece “temporarily” placed on my dresser, years ago. It remains there today because that small piece of art reminds me of what is possible.

There’s a watercolor Z’Est card on my desk. It greets me daily. Bringing joy, centering my purpose and welcoming what the day offers.

Art does not need a big budget or a perfect wall to matter. Sometimes it needs only to lean against a wall, evoking a memory, and the willingness to pause. The smallest framed card can turn an overlooked corner into a daily reminder of what is beautiful and good.

Maybe there is a quiet spot in your home waiting for a little gallery of its own.
